Hello ! Welcome on board !

My name is " Au Fil de l'Eau "

Born in 1956 in Belgium, I have been adopted by Jacques and Sophie after so many trips all over Europe. They have been immediately charmed by my generous forms and decided to refit my hull in a hotel barge.

With a shipyard collaboration, Jacques designed everything, so that everybody will feel safe on board.
Sophie took care of the comfort of the passengers, in a cosy and warmfull atmosphere.

With their help, I became a wonderful barge and I am very proud of that ( all the other barges are jealous of my conversion )
I am really happy to welcome you for a superb cruise in Burgundy.

I will cruise on the " Canal du Centre ", called in the past " Canal du Charolais ".It has been built in 10 years to carry goods by the barges, it is still used sometimes by commercial barges, but nowadays it is mainly used by the yachtsmen.

During those few days, you will share our life, discover the amazing technology of the canal and the performance of the locks.

You will discover the french way of life along the canal, the lockkeepers, the stops in the different villages, the museums, the vineyards and the restaurants.

Let's go ! cast off and let's the cruise begin !
